Sarah-Tabea Sammel is a writer-director-producer, business advisor, and social entrepreneur.
Sarah-Tabea (“ST”) SAMMEL is a writer-director-producer and business advisor. She is the founder of the social enterprise Biome Entertainment Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, a media and consulting company for social impact storytelling and systematic ESG communication solutions across B2B services and original feature film IP. She shares her knowledge as a speaker and methodology trainer. Based in Singapore, she works with organisations across APAC, Europe, and the US. Embracing community empowerment as part of her business ethics, ST established a pro bono arm for charities and is a member of the Rotary Club of Singapore.
Storytelling: ST has over 10 years of international experience as a filmmaker across TV broadcast, commercial content, and as an independent and solo-exhibited artist, worked on award-winning projects and developed a female-led genre slate. She has competed in the 2021 Bucheon Fantastic Film Festival BIFAN NAFF project market, was invited to the Spotlight project at the 2021 Ventana Sur Blood Window Lab, was shortlisted for the 2023 Sundance Development Track, and was a participant in the 2024 Full Circle Lab, Philippines, Creative Producers Lab.
She is available for commissioned projects by TV broadcasters, and producers, and implements multi-media messaging solutions for her corporate clients across all media platforms.
Consulting: In tandem with her media work, ST was invited to teach digital storytelling as a strategic communications tool in higher education and developing complex, yet accessible adult learning materials, ST embraced her ability to impart knowledge for her advisory career.
As a social entrepreneur, she understands the global economy as a vehicle for shared humanity, embracing communication strategy as a catalyst for value chain partnerships and the empowerment of organisations and communities. Her extensive experience across the media industry and communication methodology has led her to develop a unique program for organisations and decision-makers to uncover and redesign the narratives that drive their business identity, intention, and impact. She champions narrative excellence to empower ESG compliance as an intrinsic growth factor with a particular interest in solutions that cut across social sustainability, corporate culture, bilateral business relations, and CSR. “Storytelling is a social responsibility.”
