SHOWREEL
I am a Sony- and NASDAQ-featured writer–director–producer as well as brand storytelling and communications strategist with ten years of experience in single- and multi-camera productions and award-winning projects, specialising in character-driven narratives and applying storytelling as a problem-solving framework. Originally from Germany, trained in the UK, and based in Singapore, I have a unique understanding of East-West audience sensitivities and markets in the APAC region and Europe. I excel in project management and strategic planning and have effectively led and mentored diverse teams while ensuring high standards for pipeline and delivery processes. I thrive in high-efficiency environments and promote collaborations across global teams. I’m a social inclusion champion, a fast learner, and passionate about using storytelling as a vehicle for value-building and team empowerment. Amidst my media industry work, I spent five years teaching digital storytelling as a strat comms tool at the National University of Singapore, where I was a faculty member of the department for Communications and New Media, before committing to setting up my company Biome Entertainment as a social enterprise start-up. I’m passionate and enthusiastic about cinematic and immersive audience experiences that shape 21st-century media storytelling both as entertainment and as an empathetic pillar of shared humanity and social impact with a particular focus on women empowerment.

A bit of my philosophy:
Someone trusts us to tell their story; someone allows us to convey a character’s feeling and viewpoint and audiences embrace this empathically, feel and discuss a matter with us, allowing us their time and their hearts. This cannot be underestimated!
A well-told story can make an argument that brings people together. We are narrative creatures. To contribute to society by sharing in, collaboratively shaping and focusing our dialogue as people is the function of story - is why we need art.
