Disappearing Souls

DISAPPEARING SOULS is an award-winning short documentary on the Borneo Orangutan habitat and the threats endangering the lives of some of the last great red apes alongside multiple species and plants, nowhere else to be found in the world and vital to our global climate. Can we stop deforestation, non-sustainable agriculture and economical exploitation of the unique ecosystem before it is too late?

Directed and shot by Jayaprakash Bojan, National Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year 2017
Post-produced, story edited and edited by Sarah-Tabea Sammel
